Although nothing like 1977 when you could walk across it. Old Riverfront stadium in the background in Cincinnati.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Doing a major clean/rearrange in my little shop before I drag anymore vehicles in here. I found this behind a bench. Hood bar I picked up for my first 57 Chev when I was 15 (50 years ago) I wrecked the car before I used it and subsequent 57s I had after that didn’t need one. Somewhere around here I have a piece or two of the 150 dash trim and the brass Navy plaque that was screwed to the dashboard from the same car.

I hit one end with a little Wenol polish just for grins.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Finally getting a little snow the last couple days. Not a fan of snow but it doesn’t feel like we’ve had a real winter unless we get a bit.

Same winter, they were walking across the Ohio at Paducah as well. We were in high school and had a lot of snow days that year. Funny how 4x4s started selling after that and the winter of 78.

Buddy of mine found this recently at an estate sale and was thinking of me when he did. This one is the same one he has just different color. 15 bucks well spent!

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Indeed, money well spent! "If it works, it's a Fluke" used to be their slogan before they got bought out. They knew their stuff was good enough to get away with a slogan like that! My VOM is a Fluke.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

After a couple cheap HF VOMs failed, I bought a basic Fluke 101 pocket meter a few years ago. So far, so good.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

It's a great meter. I've had mine since 1984. I used to use it several time a week for over 15 years.
