New to the forums!

After some waiting I got approved to post and reply.

I've had this 72 c10 long bed for a few months and have been chipping away at it. Little stuff here and there. Picked it up already lowered, shaved, with a mild 350 and 4 speed SM465. Lots of stuff complete, really wanting to make it an enjoyable vehicle, not a show truck by any means.

The forum has been a lifesaver for many things and I can't wait to hopefully contribute!

Thanks guys!!!

Re: New to the forums!

I'll get a couple up today. Bed is off right now for front panel replacement and frame coating.

Here is one photo. Bed is still off. This is the day it rolled off the trailer.

Lots done since then but most things would be not visible.

Re: New to the forums!

Big success today with plumbing the air tank, wiring up the power and relay controls for the compressor, mounting the paddle valves, adding a cutoff switch for the pressure switch in the cab. Wrapped up as the rain swooped in. Maybe can get some plumbing done from paddle valves to tank this weekend as well.

Last 2 weekends got the front bed panel replaced, diff gasket fixed, painted all the frame I could reach with the bed off, installed a POL panhard bar, drop blocks, shock mount relocation brackets and notch all completed. Bolted then welded where I could. 4 degree shim seems to keep her vibration free.

Mounted compressor and tank in the bed due to the petcock valve being on the bottom of the tank. Ended up being very clean, as I never claim to have phenomenal wire management skills. I'll have some photos uploaded in a bit of the work.
