Coming back to forums

Good afternoon all.
I still haven't made any more progress on my old 66 c10 panel.
Suzq044 and I have since gotten married and have a soon to be 7 yr old.

My return to the forums is for my 1989 Suburban, V2500, Scottsdale. 350/auto/4x4.
It had not been driven for about 3 years. I finally took it to get fixed. I am getting back it this week. I want to get some research and ideas for some modernization/upgrades.
Mainly upgrading to cameras and screens, the hvac, and audio systems.

I call it 'beth' as its short for "behemoth". It ain't pretty, but its solid.

Welcome back! Wow 2012 and 2013 for your last posts, it's been a while, since before I joined the forum. That bumper and grill guard on behemoth sure is great!

Re: Coming back to forums

Thanks @dmjlambert

So...I tried searching, but did not find anything I was looking for.

So, we know alot of these newer cars have multiple screens. I recently had a 2025 Equinox for a rental after our other car was totalled. It had a screen for the rearview mirror showing the rear view.

I want to upgrade/update behemoth to have some of the newer creature somforts: heated seat(s) and steering wheel, large touchscreen control center for audio/media and comfort controls, new head/tail lights that are actually visible in the daylight, interior LED lighting, new separated heating and cooling for front and rear plus separate blower and temp control for windshield defroster, power locks and windows, alarm, and remote start. Eventually: new paint

I have just started this search journey here and today. I will eventually check brothers and lmc sites. For now it is past my bedtime.😅 Thank you in advance for anyone who may offer suggestions and/or references. 🍻

Y'all have a great evening and week. See you around

Re: Coming back to forums

Welcome back.

The first thing I will suggest is to plan to attend the SETN in Lebanon TN.

https://gmtruckshow.com/

You can get lots of Idea's from the Trucks that go to this Show.

There is a Swap Meet on March 1st at the Fairgrounds also.
