2014 GMC Sierra

Hey Everyone,

About a year ago I bought this 2014 GMC Sierra, It only has a key lock on the drivers side and none on the passenger side. Do some of them come with one on the passenger side too?

Thanks
Have a good one!!!

Re: 2014 GMC Sierra

I think the logic was (if you want to call it logic) you have a FOB and can open the drivers side then you hit the switch on the arm rest to open the passenger side door. If the FOB runs out of battery you can use the key to get into the truck.

Re: 2014 GMC Sierra

I have a 2005 Tahoe with no P/S door lock and find it irritating. Thinking it is more of a penny pinching idea from GM not having to install the inner mechanical parts to make a functional passenger door lock. My wife uses her FOB and carries it attached inside her purse but to me it seems to bulky to carry in my pocket, I use my keys. But then at almost 76 years young I find many newer devices on cars and truck irritating. I miss the wing windows, floor mounted dimmer switch, cloth interiors over simulated leather, rear hatch and not a set of cargo doors, radio and A/C knobs and not multi-functional flat screen icons, etc. Oh......one more added thing......Get off my lawn!
