What year appropriate accessories do you have in or on your truck?

What era accurate or year appropriate accessories do you have in or on your truck? KC fog lights, gun rack, hula girl on the dash, whip antennas, bumper stickers?

I have a couple of dads old pipes and I am considering putting one in the ash tray. I remember one of his old trucks had the vinyl floor and he would tap his pipe out on the inside door and just let it fall on the floor. We would go to the car warsh (midwestern for wash) and open both doors to blow it all out.

Backup Camera that I purchased and installed to hook up my trailers in one attempt. Had to paint my trailer couplers white so I could see them clearly.

I *had* a gun rack in my K20 for many years. It was one of several items that unfortunately went missing during its time in paint prison.

At least I still have the old mounting holes inside the cab....

My '66 had a gun rack and bed rails that were added by the original owner. I added a period correct camper shell. The rear wheels are vintage aftermarket chrome reverse that I paint matched.

I have a gun rack too. I enjoy carrying my AR-15 around on it when I’m going out to the hills to shoot or hike, just for the hell of it. It gets some funny reactions at times.

Re: What year appropriate accessories do you have in or on your truck?

I have half of a gun rack that came with my K20. I keep my eyes peeled for another "half". I also have a
Cobra CB to go in it. The truck came with an aluminum tool tray to go behind the seat where the cardboard/tar-paper-ish one would be. I'm really glad I kept it. When I first got the truck I was cleaning it out and almost tossed it.

Re: What year appropriate accessories do you have in or on your truck?

I have side steps I bought from a board member. They were supposed to be stainless steel, but only the frames were stainless. The expanded metal rusted pretty quickly.

I replace the expanded metal with stainless, but now I still have to clean the steps up more because the mild steel poisoned so much of the stainless. I might end up just remaking them.
