72 parking brake assy
So wondering if they are the same from the various vendors out there. I see some include the primary cable. Kinda getting tired of having to return defective parts from LMC

Are you talking about the pedal assembly or the cable assembly? What is the problem with yours? Just wondering. .

Re: 72 parking brake assy
Customers truck, mechanism won't lock down. Just a stupid little spring that won't allow the pawl to lock down when you step on the pedal that gives you that ratcheting sound and locks the larger gear. You can reach under and push it down after the pedal is pushed and it will hold.

Easy fix..
LockDoc sold me a spring and it fixed one of my parking brake pedal assemblies.

Re: 72 parking brake assy
Yeah, it's not that spring. It is a circular spring that rolls a small gear into the larger one. I think the rivets have to come out to install it. Thanks anyways
