Gauge needle install?

I took the gauge needles off my stock speedometer and fuel gauge to replace them.

Will they zero themselves or do they have to go on a certain way?

Any recalibration required?

Thank You

Re: Gauge needle install?

They will not "rezero" themselves. Speedo is easy- put the needle on pointing to zero when the truck is stationary. Assuming that the fuel level system was working properly before, fill the tank and put the needle on pointing to full (key on, of course).
