Not sure if this is the right spot to ask questions. Has anyone removed the rivets on the trans cross member and moved it forward about 1 inch. Is this possible, I know the engine mounts could be moved but trans cross member might be tricky.

I have never tried it but you should be able to. 1" isn't all that far. What is the problem you are running into? You would have to move the clutch z-bar bracket on the frame and lengthen the clutch linkage rod too.
