Thank you for helping him with this! I had the same issue, pegged past Hot on the gauge. I started the troubleshooting tests you posted with testing Ohm readings across the posts on the back of the gauge and the resistor. All of them were within a few of the values you provided, so I was kind of stumped. So I decided to button everything back up and I would try the next steps tomorrow. Well apparently some or one of the washers/nuts on the posts weren't in the right spot or tightened down all the way. For now it is working correctly so just needed to remove all the pieces and put them back together LOL! Thanks for helping your fellow forum members!
