Appreciate the words! I chose not to try and use the headlight buckets, they were in kinda rough shape and I figured for the couple bucks just buy all new and not have any worries. And clearly I couldn’t use the bezels either because well….. yea

Finally clocked some miles today.. thing needs an alignment BAD so I’m gonna plan on gettin that taken care of this week.

Threw some spacers on that I had laying around, quick wash and some fresh gas, a solid Sunday cruisin the old pig.

So do you think instead of spacers that a set of 8" or 9" wheels would fit and look better? I am asking because I am on the fence with getting my stock wheels widened as I will be running the same caps as yours. I think it looks great and can only imagine how nice it drives even without an alignment.

I wanted to achieve a beefier stance without breaking the bank on new rims. I was on the fence about the spacers at first but after throwing them on I’m very happy.

A cheap and simple solution to give the truck alittle bit of a better fitment and stance. At the moment new wheels are out of the budget so for 120$ spacers worked out great. These are inch and a half I got them from Lugnutguys.com

Is motivation Monday a thing? Some photoshop action and now I’m debating just how far I should lower this thing.. im not sure if a 5.5/7 would get it done to looking like this but damn that’s almost perfect in my opinion.

That is the way a 67/68 headlight switch works.
My 63 Impala does the same thing.

If you do have the Later headlight switch it may be that the front harness
keeping it functioning as the 67/68 is wired to function from the factory.

The parking light are on,Then when it is pulled to the Headlight position the Headlights only work and the parking lights go out.

I don't even get park lights when turn them on, nothing lights up unless i use blinkers or hazards in either of the two headlight switch positions. Im still trying to figure this one out, gotta pull the switch and give a peak

Okay.
That would probably be in the switch or wiring to it.

Because the Front parking lights should come on the first click.
Then parking lights go out (in the front) and the headlights come on the second click.

Here’s the custom “buddy console” bracket I had made for the seats. 100% bolt in with some flare. I wanted to be able to clear the shifter as needed whether it’s full forward or full back/up or down and I think my guy nailed it. Very happy with how it all came together

If anybody in the north east is looking for a Top Tier fabricator I strongly suggest looking up SwoopsBUILT in Fishkill, NY. The guy is a wizard.

Over the top job on the bends in the pipe and the Design.


My job requires to drill holes in weldments like this.

Most of the time Fixtures are a Requirement on jobs like this.
