Sorry can't help you with the measurement, but reminds me of a story that happened to me about 5 years ago. About 10 years or so ago I bought a 1978 olds holiday with 21,000 miles, nice car, but everything on it was still original. Called a good buddy of mine who was an Oldsmobile mechanic all his life. He went over the car for me and suggested I change belts and hoses. I didn't, 5-6 years ago I went to a car show and as I pulled in with it, the alt. light came on. After I opened the hood and pulled pieces of the belt out, I see him sitting up the street. I walked up to him with a piece of the belt in my hand, he said alt belt, it's should be 53 3/8 by 5/16, but there was no store open. He just rattled those numbers off the top of his head. I had a new batt. so he followed me home, we ordered everything from rock auto, replaced heater core, all belts, all hoses, etc. Some of these guys have a good memory.

That is a very clean Oldsmobile for sure. Cool summer cruiser. Yeah first thing for me is always to go threw the main rubber.
