Passenger side door mirror longer than driver side door mirror?

Are the factory style passenger side door mirror and driver side door mirror for 1967-1969 C10 trucks supposed to be the same length?

I purchased some brand new door mirrors from a well known parts supplier and the passenger side door mirror is longer by about a inch so it sticks out a little more. They are the small round mirror kind.

They are for my 1968 Chevy C10 short bed fleetside. This is not my truck but the exact style of mirrors.

Not a mistake. It compensates for the asymmetrical distance between your eye at the driver's seat, and the longer distance to the passenger side mirror. Much shorter distance to the LH Mirror. And the P/S mounting position might be more forward too.

Yes, one side is longer than the other.
