Pic Request
This is for a 1975 model GMC/Chevy 1/2 ton.
Can someone take a pic of their wiper motor for me? Specifically the 3 mounting bolts with the rubber isolators. I want to see the location of the grounding strap that is made into 1 of the rubber isolators and where it is attached to the aluminum frame of the wiper motor assembly. Many Thanks! |

Re: Pic Request
You are probably looking for pictures of the factory ground grommet that has the 2-1/4" long copper ground strap.
It would be nice to know what the factory part number is for this grommet?

Re: Pic Request
I can see the picture I posted, is it not showing up for others? The grommet part number is 22009636, 4911142 is the grommet without ground strap.

Re: Pic Request
I see some wiper motor gromets on ebay and LMC that have a ground strap that looks to be 1-1/2" long. I guess you could solder on a copper extension on to make it long enough.

Re: Pic Request
Thank you gents! Do NOT buy the kit from LMC as the brass ground tab is too short. Just a FYI ...
