Spring rate confirmation?
Hi guys, I’m hoping someone can confirm the spring rate (front/rear) for my truck
1969 c10, shortbed, i6 250, Three on the tree Also, does anyone know the spring rates of the CPP lowering springs? Thank you

Not sure what the actual spring rate is for them, but the 4 in lowering rear springs are ridiculously soft. Some have mentioned that they are actually Chevelle springs and not truck rated at all. I would tend to side with that theory.

I'm assuming you were talking about CPP springs, because that's what you referenced in your original post. My CPP springs that are on my truck are soft. Don't know about anyone else's brand.

I find it odd that they don’t advertise spring rate.
We can call them soft but I’ve put my body weight on a CPP 1” spring and did the same with a i6 spring in the past and I can say that the oem spring is softer, but I have no idea by how much. I played with Foxbody Mustangs when I was younger and there every aftermarket spring company advertises rate which makes it easier to compare before you buy.
