Door Panel Question
I have a few questions about door panels on a 70 C!0. It has metal door panels and its been multiple years since I took it a parts. Here are my questions:
1) with metal door panels do you use upped door panel trim to help hold the panel in place? 2) what do you use to cover up the opening in the door to keep moisture and dirt from getting on the back side of the door panel? Thanks |

1. Yes, the upper trim is a retainer. The metal door panel slides into it.
2. See below: This is board member DeadheadNM 1972 Blazer Quote:

Re: Door Panel Question
1970cts blazer- thanks.
Is the rubber molding just for a blazer or should it be on a truck door as well? |

The original material was a white foam, so the rubber will be better than that. Trucks, Suburbans and Blazers all got them.

Re: Door Panel Question
Here's a thread with some things I discovered with my door panels.
