Pics from the free car show I went to today....

Not much in the way of 67-72's, but it's a pretty big show for being free.

I did see 3 original SS409 cars there, one is a carbon copy of the one my uncle bought new. Also saw a completely tricked out 59 Caddy Eldorado 2 door.....and some other "gems" All in all, it was a great show

Here are the pics of the trucks I spied over the weekend. The red 69 or 70 lwb with the lower trim is for sale, and seems halfway solid.
The ochre/white truck is sitting in a driveway about a block from my brother's house.
The red 70 C20 was spied by me today, sitting in a local seed companies parking lot. The truck is really plain jane, and they have a few 67-72 Fords that were sport customs.....no clue why they ordered the C20 plain, and the Fords sport customs....
The John Deere Green/Yellow 68 lwb is a texas truck that came up here about 6 years ago. It's now bent in the middle from doing a lot of junking, and has been sitting for about a year. It's still pretty solid, I need to see if I could score it cheap, I know the owner.
And the 69 C10 Burban has been sitting at that automotive place for the last 4 1/2 years that I know of, and was for sale once. They still drive it very rarely.

I almost forgot...my favorite car at the show..... A 62 SS 409 4 speed convertible. Red with a white top, identical to the one my uncle bought new in 62. I still hate him for selling it, and the 64 superstock dodge that he traded the SS 409 in on . A 70 Superbird with a 440 6 pack and a pistol grip 4 speed was a close 2nd for "favorite"...

Dude...this burb looks awsome!

If that is original paint...or a repaint of original color, then it is a 69...only year for that color.
Any chance of getting a real good pic of the front and side...like a 3/4 shot?
