Who restores 67-72 instrument clusters?

I had bought some restored clusters on here years ago but don't remember who I purchased from. I'm needing to have a tach cluster restored or willing to buy a restored or nice survivor one. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if he's doing this anymore. Really great guy, conscientious. His name is Tim.

TBONE1964

Wow, I checked his profile and he hasn't posted in years. Hopefully he's still upright. Perhaps he just lost interest. You might search google for "Tim" and the subject, see if he's still available.

I developed an assembly information kit for restoring my truck from nuts and bolts. It's written in Assy. order, short & simple, packed with all OEM hardware ID; castings; part ID; 100s of part numbers; wiring simple - Resource, and trivial too.

Much info. applies to all 67-72 GM, A/C vehicles, esp. trucks W/O saying. Full search ability, including to 700+ images of illus., parts, charts, Assy., points of interest, cab, bed, & front clip cart plans- Specials and cores were serviced out and R excluded e.g. front/rear glass, body/paint, engine core, rebuilt hinges, steering box, trans, etc.

The project was in-line with long former professions developing process, policy, specs, demo, written for novices, admin., policy, engineers, development, systems & test - Public & govt 2, gross. Sell soft copy cheaply, PM if interested.

I use these guys for all my classic vehicle gauge restorations:

Keep in mind sometimes it is more cost effective going with the aftermarket clusters.

Re: Who restores 67-72 instrument clusters?

Give pjmoreland a ring, great guy! I am building a specific OEM panel with Dakota Digital adapters and he helped me out. Saw a post recently mentioning https://newvintageusallc.mybigcommerce.com/ Would be a good option for a custom panel. Do not care for the Dakota digital panels for 67-72's as they all have an analog clock where the tachometer is placed. Least needed option that never came in these trucks in the most prominent location. What were they thinking? Even with the DD adapters purchased for my LS still think I am ahead with my cluster and I have what I want. Would have been easier to go with what is available. Will look at NVU in the future If I want to spend more money.

Re: Who restores 67-72 instrument clusters?

I appreciate the kind words, guys. I'm taking a break from doing gauge clusters right now while I'm working on a project truck. I will start back up again after things are settled down on the project, which will probably be in about three months.

Apparently this guy restores them. He's got a few for sale online, and they're sure pretty.
