Classic Industries side trim issue

I have done several 64-66 C10 pickups for people. I used Classic industries trim. Last year I had to replace some door trim on these trucks due to day to day damage. I waited for months for them to be available with no luck. I bought a complete set to get the upper door trims (cx1689) to help out customers. I ordered 3 of the door trims 6 months ago and still waiting. Classic says they have no idea when the will get some. I bought another brand but they look different. Anyone know where they source from or where to get?

you need to find out who the vendor is by calling Classic. If they say its Mar-K, then you will know thats who's trim you want, and you can call another supplier and find Mar-K trim. Mar K is the one that is the most like and almost undistinguishable from NOS trim

I did call Classic and they would not tell me if any other vendors sold their trim or who makes their trim.
I have bought many sets of this trim from Classic in the last couple of years. About 1.5 years ago I had 2 trucks that has damaged upper door trim. I ordered from Classic and waited 6 months, but nothing. I bought a complete set to get that trim to help customers out. After that I ordered 3 pieces of door trim from Classic. It has been 8 months. I email their support (Ronette) monthly. They always say it coming in a month. I emailed them yesterday to ask them to take one out of a complete kit as they always stock these. They would not. Not dealing with them anymore. LMC has these in stock so I ordered. If they are slightly different like the MAR-K I will change both doors.

Re: Classic Industries side trim issue

If Classic Industries is in fact getting their trim pieces from Mar-K, the reason for lack of parts is Mar-K's recent issues (closure??).

Classic does not get their trim from Mar K. Recently Classic told me they get their trim from "OER parts".

Re: Classic Industries side trim issue

So I just received a couple upper door trim pieces from LMC. While usable they are not as nice as the MAR-K and OER pieces I got from Classic. As I said Classic has not had this piece individually for years. Anyone know where I can find some MAR-K or OER upper door pieces? Or another quality piece?

So no one makes decent individual side trim for 64-66 C10's anymore?
