Steering Column Question

Will a column from a '88-'91 pick-up bolt into an '86 K-10??
I've heard that the length is the problem??
Also splines may differ??

If it's the same body style then it should. If it's different body style then it won't. I don't think the 4wd is different in columns but you may have to reuse the same shaft as the one you have on the old truck.
