Radiator plug leak
Hey all. Finally working out some leaks on my truck and thought I’d get lucky on this one and would be resolved but she is a stubborn one.
On the driver side of the radiator this little port has a plug and I took it out and put sealer on it and still wants to leak. Anyone have a way to stop this? Maybe a plug or wonder if a radiator drain plug would fit I know it looks ugly from the pic |

Re: Radiator plug leak
No offense, but I can't tell what I'm looking at in that picture.

Is it a threaded hole?

Re: Radiator plug leak
It is. It’s a M10x1.0 plug that’s in it. I just took it out and sized it.
I’m going to find a bolt and try that |

Re: Radiator plug leak
Whether you use that plug or a bolt, try teflon paste on the threads, then wrap the threads with teflon tape. I learned that from a plumber. Good luck.
