1967 Only Radio Knobs

Hi everyone!

I think that I am going to do a retro upgrade to my existing radio. I found a place that I can send it to and they will change out the internals to a modern radio. My question is with the knobs. I believe that the 67 knobs were unique to that year with the serrations in the edge of the knob. Mine are missing. Is this something that is reproduced? I have searched on fleabay and the likes for another radio, but they are all missing the knobs as well. I have the original knobs for the instrument cluster and the cigarette lighter, so I want to keep them all the same.

Thanks, Clay

Question Re: 1967 Only Radio Knobs

Also, like the '68-'72 knobs there were the base and deluxe knobs. Which are you seeking?

I am not sure which ones that I have...

Here is a picture of them. They are black with a silver center. I am at work now, so I don't have a more clear picture.

Re: 1967 Only Radio Knobs

Wish I could help here. I had a set of deluxe knobs out of my 67 and I sold them to Grumpy Old Man. Which makes me sad all over again thinking of him.

Re: 1967 Only Radio Knobs

In order to put a WTB ad up, you must subscribe. It’s well worth the cost.

I might be able to recreate them if you can get me some dimensions.

Don't know anything about the knobs but that is clearly a nicely painted interior, love the color.

They are slightly smaller diameter and have a ribbed circumference.

In reference to Grumpy Old Man.
Has he passed?
In reference to the Knobs, i think I have a pair, but I’ll have to look through my four large Bed Boxes of parts to find them.
If you’re patient, I’ll eventually find them.

If you find some and want to sell them, let me know! For now, I will just be putting the old radio back in the dash to plug the holes, but I would like to get the radio redone so that it can be used.

Thanks, Clay
