Re: Restoring my (Dad's) 1970 CST

Well I got the cab lifted off the frame and on the cart by myself. Need to bolt it down then move a bunch of vehicles out of the way so I can wheel the cart into my garage.

Re: Restoring my (Dad's) 1970 CST

I had some time today. I had to move my wife's jeep, her Tacoma, my tundra, my f350, my carolla, a utility trailer, a jet ski, and my travel trailer out of the way so I can wheel my cab into the garage on the cart. I was able to do it this afternoon. Sheesh. Now I can start the rockers and cab corner out of the sun. It's going to be 100° here in a few days.

Re: Restoring my (Dad's) 1970 CST

My garage is full as well with the Mini Cooper project I have, my MGB, and all my woodworking equipment. It makes for a tight work area. Fortunately I can wheel the cab out onto the driveway on nice days.

Being able to move things around makes everything easier!

I, too, have many different projects, it's a sickness.

Re: Restoring my (Dad's) 1970 CST

Started on the rockers. Got the driver's side off and new one mocked up. Ordered a key parts A pillar for a piece of it. Have to put that on before welding the rocker.

Yes, that is the same one I ordered. I only ordered the driver's side so far as I'm going to do one side then the other, and the passenger rocker is in better shape and I'm hoping it just needs the rocker..

Thumbs up Re: Restoring my (Dad's) 1970 CST

I'm looking forward to using them on my 1970 K20. They appear to be spot on.
