Re: Longhorn Tonneau

Thanks. I tried CraftTec...they literally led-me-on for over a week of email back-&-forth and precise measurements & sketches and got my hopes up and anxiety high. Them: "Our frame has to fit closely inside the top inch or so of the bed with the tailgate closed, and we can't be responsible for covers that don't fit properly - especially considering the over $100 in shipping costs these days. That's why we need measurements taken with the tailgate in place." So I did that, and when they said they'd have to have it there in Wylie,Tx to custom make one, I said OK and I made arrangements to drive it there. Once I committed to them, they quickly shut me down with "too-busy...cant tell when we could get to it". Nasty folks except for a contact I had there "Beth". For their help they probably pay minimum wage to Passers-By or Park-Bench warmers who just want to come-in out of the rain. Not a good culminating experience I had with them over the Internet...no sireee.
