Yea, the overhead cam 5.4's respond well to boost.
As far as trapspeed, a stock lightning can be anywhere from 98 to 102 mph or so depending on air conditions. (1/4 mile) I'm surprised your truck doesn't run faster than that. Do you have an upgraded torque converter?

I just looked at your website, looks like from the picture you have an open diff rearend. (burnout) If that's not an old picture, get a posi and a good torque converter.
My truck has a JW 10" 2400 stall converter and it's worth every penny in my opinion.

yeah, 2.73 open
i have a "house brand" TC rated at 2500 , flash stalls at 2800. whenever i get a new tranny(700r4) and get rid of this th350c, i'll have more choices on better brands of conveters. |

A newer Mustang GT was messing with me today, and we ran from about a 45 punch. I'm not sure if it was a 5spd or auto but I pulled him fairly good.
I think they run high 90's for trap speed don't they? (stock)

I raced a newer supercharged Lightning in my Subaru. I only got him because of the AWD traction.
