Headlight Upgrade Completed

Finally got around to the LED Headlight upgrade. Went with the Holley Retrobrghts. Pretty happy with the results. Bought them during one of their sales. They are pricey!

Nice! you'll be very happy with them. I've been running the same (classic white) for nearly 3 years. They have a very reasonable OE look but modern car performance.

My only fault for them is that I wish they had more curvature to the lens as they're too flat.

I also waited for the sale. Actually $200 each isn't bad considering what new car/truck headlights sale for.

Boy that's the truth. A friend had to replace a headlight on his newer Audi $2800!

Ain't that the truth about the price of headlights. About a year ago I had a guy while I was passing him on the highway decide to move over in to my lane with the rear of his truck, hit my Buick enclave on the passenger fender. We were in a construction and lane next to me was closed with plastic barrels. He pushed me into those barrels, they were going down like dominos. the lane on my drivers side was dough out and about a 2ft drop, I had nowhere to go. The only metal needed was a right fender, I have $500.00 deductible so drove to my buddies body shop, he says your looking at about 2500.00 The police were called and no one got a ticket, so I decided to turn it in. Long story short it wasn't my fault, so they waved my deductable, but the adjuster said I needed a new headlight, it had a faint scratch in it, I told him I could live with it. He said it's too nice of a car, new light, new valance, new rim, etc. He gave me a check for over 5600.00 when done. Highlight over 3 grand, he said some of the bmw's, Lexus, etc are over 6 grand a light. Even gave me a 4 wheel alignment.
