Help, can’t find exhaust pipes

I am fixing up my 65 C10. It has the stock 230 6cyl. I have searched to the ends of the internet and the pipes are not to be found.
I am fixing this up for my son, so I am on a tight budget. I would prefer a bolt on option as apposed to a muffler shop for a custom system.
Any ideas?

Re: Help, can’t find exhaust pipes

I have a 62 C10 that previously had a 235, 6 cyl. I was able to find pipes in a Walker catalog that showed as available. You might ask somebody like a NAPA store to see if they can locate them. On the “custom” side, I’d think a good local muffler shop could put something together pretty cheap - there’s not much to a 60’s truck exhaust.

Not exactly cheap but it did fit my 66 with the stock 250 inline 6. Purchased a few new hangers and clamps to replace the old rusted stuff, otherwise it was a complete bolt on kit.

You know what’s going to happen.
You’ll finally find a supposed bolt on kit and when you try to install it then it won’t fit. Money and time wasted.
The real issue is your son’s health.
A leaky cobbled togethor exhaust is a serious health issue.
Do it right.
Get a pro muffler shop to do it.

Re: Help, can’t find exhaust pipes

So I was able to find that ebay kit. dunno why the link isn't working. It does say the seller is away till July 25th so maybe none of their links work till then.

I just googled "1963-1966 Chevy C-10 Truck Complete Stock Single Exhaust System 230 6 Cylinder" and it was the first ting that came up.

I guess I need to proof what I paste. sorry about that. I am glad it could be found easy enough, despite my efforts.

Re: Help, can’t find exhaust pipes

Keep calling around until you find a good shop doing affordable work! I found one local here in Omaha that does work cheaper in stainless than I could put together on my own with cheaper metal. Otherwise, I would buy a section of flex exhaust that connects to the manifold and then bolts to a section of straight pipe, muffler, section of straight pipe, and a turned down exhaust tip. You could either buy bolt together sections or mock it up as you want it and mark what and where you want welded before taking it into a shop having done everything you can on your own to reduce the cost.

Good Luck! My '65 was my brother's first truck and it made me want to trade him immediately for my Cutlass that at the time was my beloved first ride. I inherited the truck after my brother passed in '99 after the truck sat for some time due to issues with: 1) running unleaded fuel in a lead head; and 2) then adding just water after the head warped and started losing coolant. These ultimately resulted in a cracked block and my decision to put in a 350 from a '74 GMC I had. That said, make sure your head can handle unleaded fuel or that you are adding additive to it!
