door drains
I have it sated there are drains in the doors. For one have not fpund any in the bondo or piece or mettal left in door.
Where shoule them be? How big. If there are none why the hell not? Love chevy but face it there is noway these doors will not leak water into inside. Almost loike they where setup to leak by design.

About 8”in on both sides right above the lip
If not there, probably easy to put a couple holes in that location On my factory 72 doors it’s like a one inch long slit shaped into the door skin Last edited by Orefactory4x4 swb; 07-11-2025 at 06:45 PM. |

If someone ever repaired rust in them areas, easily could have left them out not thinking. I saved that area when repairing mine. Just to save that factory look.

Pictures of what they look like in the position Orefactory4x4 swb describes, 8 inches from front and rear of door. Don't pay any attention to my bonus hole. I have a variety of bonus holes I don't know why.
