Car show

Really nice show, wish I took a pic of a BA 67 Vette, hmm, and a mint 68 Z28, but. I tried to be selective, just so many. That's the last time I take my truck to a show, all day anyway, parked at 5:30 am, hot as balls in a firestorm. Umbrella on grass is the only reason I'm not dead yet, and I'm not doing that to my truck again. Took a picture of my truck, because sometime early morning, someone put this mystery Union 76 ball on the truck side pocket, behind the gas cap...I left it there all day, kind of matches. Also a picture of my friend's 69 427 Vette. There were at least five 427 Vettes. The HD Chevy has a 427 itself. A bunch of high show concours vehicles.

This 68 mod c10 is spectacular, paint and body are first rate.

I developed an assembly information kit for restoring my truck from nuts and bolts. It's written in Assy. order, short & simple, packed with all OEM hardware ID; castings; part ID; 100s of part numbers; wiring simple - Resource, and trivial too.

Much info. applies to all 67-72 GM, A/C vehicles, esp. trucks W/O saying. Full search ability, including to 700+ images of illus., parts, charts, Assy., points of interest, cab, bed, & front clip cart plans- Specials and cores were serviced out and R excluded e.g. front/rear glass, body/paint, engine core, rebuilt hinges, steering box, trans, etc.

The project was in-line with long former professions developing process, policy, specs, demo, written for novices, admin., policy, engineers, development, systems & test - Public & govt 2, gross. Sell soft copy cheaply, PM if interested.

Re: Car show

Awesome pics!! Thanks for sharing the pictures!!

When I was younger I would go to all the car shows close to my house. I have slowed down quite a bit lately. However, I just recently picked up my 70 C10 and have been to two. It was 94 here in Tennessee when we left the show yesterday. My wife and I were both sweat soaked.

Re: Car show

I have to say that T-Bird was in the running for the cleanest car there, though I'm not a huge fan of the model. The owner is in the farmer's hat. My friend who owns the 69 Vette is standing next to him; he's 86 BTW, they need to bottle that gene pool, and his daughter is kind of hot☺

My dad had a red 56 convertible for a time. Fun car, I was only 4 or 5 at the time. Today I might like the red 67 thunderbird my dad had better.

I didn't want to take pics all day, so unfortunately I missed some stuff I'd like to have back. (*(^ oven out there, we rarely see 100F and no breeze to boot. I'm not doing it, no more waking up at 4AM, which became 3AM. They already changed the time for the next show. Next time I get there when I get there, and leave early if I go at all, though it's close by. Pound for pound it's the best show I've seen, short a museum.
