Trucks for sale

Im not trying to cause problems, but I was looking at the trucks for sale section on this site. There was almost always activity, especially for 67-72's.

I've been around for a while. I try to help where I can but most of you guys have much more talent, experience, that I will ever have. I was thinking of becoming a subscriber so I could list my truck for sale but noticed, the most recent truck listed was Sep, 2024.

Just curious...Don.

Re: Trucks for sale

You have to click on forums at the top of the home page, then scroll down to the category. If you click on trucks for sale on the home page it takes you to the old listings you mentioned.

You're not the only one. I have been doing it wrong apparently too! Why would you think you could just go to the trucks for sale section within the home page and just click on a category!?

Re: Trucks for sale

I go to the new way...smile...trucks for sale.
I notice a few people made a post that have pink user names, like mine.
I tried to start a post but got a screen that said I am not authorized.
Is there a super secret password(grin).

Thanks for any help...Don.

Re: Trucks for sale

To make a for sale ad you have to be a premium member . There is a fee to do so I think $25 for the base subscription.

But to respond to an add you don’t need to be . Not sure what the pink username actually means

Here I just thought that was the color of choice for a while.

But yes you do have to be a paid supporting member to post and add, offer to sell something to someone else or post a looking for/ parts wanted that doesn't state "what vendor do you suggest buying this from".

That prevents individuals from joining the board just to have a free place to post adds for their parts or vehicles and helps prevent scammers from posting adds. I'm also on the HAMB and there are way too many people on it that never post anything on the board but always have several adds running or search the classifieds several times a day for parts that get advertised.

I never check the classifieds as I seldom look for parts or pieces or find them locally and unless I sell a couple of rigs am not in the market for another truck.
