also timing, lots of vids on re-timing a ppump. i'd run 19-20deg on even stock builds. some say you need special tools, but i 3d printed a template to mark degree increments on the balancer and use a harbor freight 2-bolt puller on the pump gear.

killer dowel pin fix? really easy to change the pump timing if already in there with the cover off.
