Transfer case hitting the cab floor
I have a 68 K10 with a 350/700r4/241c combo that I'm building, and tried putting the cab on the frame after painting, and the cab floor hit the bracket on top of the transfer case. I assume this bracket is for a wire loom support or something? Whatever it is, I don't need it. Does anyone know what this bracket is for? Also, assuming it's not needed and I cut it off, and I still need a bit more clearance, would dropping the xfer case half an inch be a better choice than cutting the floor? My current transfer case angle is 4 degrees. I've read that you don't want to go much lower than that.

Re: Transfer case hitting the cab floor
You can shave those off. I think they were alignment points for machining
