Re: Dealership Decals, lets see what your truck has.

These Dealership badges/decals are becoming very popular with a lot of us car & truck folks. Here are copies of the ones on 2 of my cars from the dealerships where they were sold new. If anyone has one from a Chevrolet dealership out of CA, I would be real interested in it as I'm doing my truck I bought in CA.

A couple of years ago I posted a pic of my dealer stamped bumper in this thread (post #27). Here’s a pic of it fully restored.

My '68 C/10 Stepside was originally shipped to Felix Chevrolet in Downtown Los Angeles. They used the cartoon Felix The Cat as their logo. Truck and Car Shops of Orange, CA used to sell a black cat decal, about 3 or 4 inches, for inside the window glass.

This one is on a 67 C10 I acquired last week. Dealership is still in business today.

I know you asked for decals but, here's my two dealer emblems from the now defunct Kerr Chevrolet in Hastings, Nebraska

This dealer decal is also the first time-card punching job I held.

WOW, thanks for posting that pic of the Kerr Chevrolet diecast emblems. My '71 4x4 was originally sold thru Kerr in Hastings, Neb many years ago. I bought it many years later at a used car lot in Wichita, Ks. Had been rode hard and put away wet as the saying goes. Replaced a LOT of sheet metal during the restore. Bed, tail gate, front fenders, inner fenders, both doors. Only the cab and running gear/frame are original to the truck. Had a square black decal on D/S front fender with "Kerr, Hastings, Neb" printed on it. Had always wondered if they existed and looked for several years for a die cast Kerr dealer emblem. Finally gave up the search after coming up dry for so many years. "IF" and that's a big "IF" you would ever consider parting with one of those emblems PM me about it. Would really love to have such still for my truck.

Re: Dealership Decals, lets see what your truck has.

It not a badge so please don't beat me up too much. Found this at the box of stuff my mom had.

Judging from the slogan, the metric increments and phone numbers I would guess 1980's or late 70's.

Nothing to do with logo's, but I found a cat in my pole barn last fall. Named him Felix and my neighbor came down a few weeks later and gave me this refrigerator magnet, I had never seen one.

Aw - I've got two like that (also adopted strays, from under the back porch).

Re: Dealership Decals, lets see what your truck has.

Now I feel obligated to post the dealership sticker for my truck (lol) -

Hank Graff Chevrolet - Davison Michigan.

The dealership(s) were started by Max Graff in the very early 1900's (as Ford dealerships). Hank grew the business and now has multiple agencies throughout Michigan.

My Chevelle also came through this same location but at the time it was Robert Uptegraff Chevrolet. When Graff's bought it they left the sign intact and just crossed out the "Upte" portion.

Re: Dealership Decals, lets see what your truck has.

A bit of an aside - but I had this made for my Grand Prix.

I noticed these "ghost images" in the chrome one day when the light was just right....very faintly, faded into the chrome (I highlighted it with Sharpy marker so that it would show up for photos and so that I could have a couple stickers reproduced):

Here is the reproduced bumper sticker; I picked the colors just from my imagination of what they might have used:

Here is my 70 GMC emblem. They only put one on the drivers front fender. Truck spent it's life in Pueblo Colorado.
