15x8.5 Torq-Thrust D - Who's running them?
Can you show me some photos and let me know what tire size you are using? I’m seriously thinking about getting a set.
Thanks!

Re: 15x8.5 Torq-Thrust D - Who's running them?
Look at Lee H's build thread. he has them on his truck. Not sure of the sizes.
I will have a set for my 72 before the year is over. I am planning on running 15 x 7's in the front with a 235/70/15 tire and 15 x 8's on the rear with a 275/60/15 tire. I am also interest to see other trucks with these awesome wheels. |

Mine are 15x8, front and rear. LT235/75R/15 tires. I like the look. I have nothing against the larger wheels but I like having sidewall on my tires.

Re: 15x8.5 Torq-Thrust D - Who's running them?
This truck has won my vote for the best wheel/tire combination I have seen. I also really like the stance. I wonder how it would look on my LWB.

Re: 15x8.5 Torq-Thrust D - Who's running them?
Very nice ride (Zombie thread i know , but you have to go back a few years to hear folks tconversing about 15" rolling stock
I just ordered a set of 15x8 TT2's and 275/60 T/A's for my Cheyenne Super -- was kicking around the idea of going with 17 or 18's after looking at thousands of photos on here but just went with what was familiar to simplify my life - i needed new tires , but my friend , who is an enabler , said "are you going to ditch the Centerlines too? I know i would" - I actually thought the solid disc type wheels were also an equally nice old school choice but what do i know. A fresh look may inject some pride of ownership that has been missing for a while I am going to have to get the stance altitude corrected when the wheels come in and are installed What are you using to get yours down in the weeds? Mine is a tad bit complicated as it is a Chevy, but with leaf springs rather than coils
