Quick Trick wheel alignment tools
Has anyone in here used alignment tools from a company called Quick Trick? My son was looking for an easier way to set toe by himself, found the jigs and bought them, no other gauges, just the toe jigs. First let me say that I've used the chalk and scribe method, and the string method, to set toe for over 40 years with great results. And yeah, it can be a hassle to do alone.
I have to say that I'm less than impressed with them. The concept and design seems legit, but the execution and the final results don't live up to the vision. They seem super flimsy, easily dinged up and quite hokie to me. In the last two days, I've personally tried them on 3 different vehicles with three different style wheels. The jigs don't stay secure enough to get repeatable readings without them falling off the vehicle. On the website the term accuracy is mentioned quite often, that's laughable. The kit comes with two chintzy tape measures that don't even measure the same when checked against each other. My first reaction when he pulled them out and begin setting them up was; this some bs! (using that famous Clint Eastwood grimace) Most all of the reviews written about this seem like generic, pole polishing hot air. What really got to me this morning was when I went to their website and saw the prices of these things. ![]() One part of me feels like he needs consoling, the other side wants to shake him up and ask him why he didn't use their money back guarantee? If you have any input or feedback on this product, please feel free to reply here, I'll gladly listen to your experience with them. Until I get any feedback I'm going to refrain from telling how I really feel about it. ![]() Go to quicktrickalignment(dot)com and look up; QuickTrick DIY toe alignment kit. |
