You know at one time, all these trucks were loved by someone.

Has anyone wanted to "rescue" any of these trucks and give them a second life. I see so many C20's and C30's that I would love to have.

Yep, in particular regarding the '76 GMC Casa Grande camper rig on the slider truck in post #936 above -- it wasn't for a lack of trying to get that one to a rescuer home. Guy listing on FB Marketplace pulled it out of the woods where it had been stashed for 40+ years, but he encountered - shall we simply say - harsh criticism about the rig's condition, and its value (or incorrect value thereof), including the assessment of one buyer I found. So he elected to treat it as the unsalvageable thing he was told by most everyone else he encountered, and hauled it off to the dump to have it obliterated forever (after keeping a few parts for himself). But, give him credit for sharing both the camper serial number unit - #0715 - and the Jimmy's VIN so I could at least add that to my spreadsheet of all these I know of in one form or another. And he provided me with a few photos of the poor thing from different angles when it was in the woods, which will help me tie it in with any other vintage photos of it from back in the day that folks might share.
