Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Cleaning my too small shop for the zillionth time trying to make room for my next project. I have no windows so it’s pretty dark in there but I have a small light over what used to be a work bench. Now the cyclekart is sitting where the bench was. When I clicked off the main lights it lit the kart like this. Moved a couple of things out of the frame and clicked off a pic. I’m now a professional cell phone picture taker guy lol

Looks good Mark. I haven't had mine out at all this year. I need to get it out and run it around the yard a couple of times....

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

All the tires were flat and it was piled high with good stuff (junk) before I took the pic. I cant even remember the last time we had it out, at least a year? I told my granddaughter she could have it but its going to be a long time before she has a place she'll be able to keep it. Ill probably look in to selling it and just giving her the money. They are going to have a baby in December so my guess is the money would be a better use than the car.

I dont think Ive ever seen a pic of yours?

CG: That thing is cool...judging from the magazine display, my guess is it's about 6ft in length. Otherwise no scale!

Then I took a gander at yours Doc and see that I might have been right! Love it! Reminds me of my go-cart days.

Mines 42 inch front wheel track. 40 inch rear wheel track. 36 inches tall at seat back. 8 feet long.
Pretty good chunk of real estate for a small shop.

I’ve posted lots of pics of it here on the board in the past … here’s another lol!

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

We’ve had a big filing cabinet in our garage for years. It came out of my wife’s grandparents house. It is stuffed to the gills with “STUFF” My wife and one of her sisters have started to clean it out. I took a pic of this newspaper, I thought it was interesting, from 1945.

I have driven past there many times.... a looooong time ago. Don't think I ever stopped to check it out, though. Always in too big of a hurry.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

The view is nice but for me the attraction is taking the old Columbia rRiver highway back into the city instead of slabbing it on the interstate for the last 35 miles. Much more fun but my MPG's drop significantly going that way.

I've always had a soft spot for old highways, and had all but forgotten about that one. After all, it's been nearly 6 decades. Doesn't it have some of the old, low guardrails?
