Re: Not Another Rebuild Thread....
The time that flies by is staggering. There were cat prints on it from a cat we have not seen in 5 years or more. Cobwebs, spooky shadows... the works. But it cleaned up well. Before last week the only work I had gotten done on it was an exhaust system with cutouts put in. After I got it cleaned up, it got new front glass and fluid change. It got stuck between gears across town on me, did not realize that my shift linkage needed as much adjusting as it turned out, but got that taken care of. All this was to try and get it ready for an invite only car show party that was being hosted by a friend I have known since the High School years. It also fell on the day my wife and best friends shared birthday, so it was a win-win and the first time showing this truck in Washington. So me in my stepside, wife in her 72 LeMans Sport, best friend in his 72 Chevy Luv, and his younger brother in his 66 Olds. We had a great time, live band and massive taco pot luck spread of food. Next up I have some different side mirrors I want to try, my originals just did not pan out well and I cant see crap out of them, so they gotta go. Truck runs like a champ, wants to go fast, and is fun as hell to drive. Gets some odd looks tho...
