Hello from Europe

Hi,
I registered some time ago but forgot about that.. So here a couple of words about me.
DIY oldtimer repair enthusiast since around 1990, went for US oldtimers in 2000. Currently we have some nice cars in the family - 55 Pontiac Starchief, 57 Fairlane Skyliner, 63 Imperial and 1990ies Park Avenue and Tahoe.
Our newest family member is a 64 K10 Stepside with original 283 V8 and 4-gear manual transmission.
This is a project I am doing with my 16-yr old son, it will be his car as soon as he gets his driver's license.
We are keeping it as much original as possible - only the engine was rebuilt and some wiring was replaced. And of course a lot of welding to fix the holes in the cabin floor and the door corners.
Looking forward to gratefully receiving your help and support and of course providing some know-how I gathered

Re: Hello from Europe

Welcome aboard! You have a nice collection of U S iron. I always find the stories on how vehicles move about the planet interesting.

Looking forward to a build thread on th C10.
