Re: Fashionable Fever! - 1969 Chevy C10 Build
Holy moly - finally got the outer rocker in. Had it all epoxied and ready to go this weekend. Was about to weld it in when I realized part of the rocker wasn't touching part of the pillar right next to where the cab corner meets up. Ended up slicing the pillar and bending it out and welding in more metal. Ended up being off 5/16" in a matter of 7". Fits really good now.
Im going to have to wait until I flip my cab to weld the inner rocker to the outer rocker at the bottom lip - my dolly stand is just too low to slide under there and do any work.
Now onto my cab corner (or back onto it). I wish I wouldnt have done this corner a few years ago. I put it in before my rocker thinking it would turn out fine - well now its not lining up with the rocker. Thats why they say do the rocker first i guess. Last two pics shows how out of whack it is. Might be easier to just make a cut the whole way up in the back and see if i can fit it in better instead of taking the whole corner piece out again.
