Option Sheet Pricing ?

Does anyone know where to find a listing of option costs for the 67-72 trucks, Blazers and Burbs? A friend of mine just recently picked up a rough '72 4x4 long bed for a restore. We got to talking about the 69-72 tow hooks (which I added to my '71 4x4 long ago) and the 72 only tow hooks. His truck being a 72 4x4 the frame is drilled for tow hooks but of course are long gone if they were ever optioned at the build time. Of course he is looking for some knowing their rather hard to come by. He guessed maybe back in the day a $50 option but I have no idea. Anyone know what tow hooks cost back in the day from the factory? I also added an original truck AM/FM to my truck which is another HTF option.

Re: Option Sheet Pricing ?

I have one for a '72, but it won't load- I get a "security token error". That usually means it's too big? But it's a PDF.

Screenshots of pages 10-14.

Re: Option Sheet Pricing ?

SteveeDee, thanks for posting the PDF sheets. Looks like V76 "towing device" was $18.00 when ordered or $19.40 thru the parts counter. AM/FM radio was $141.00 when ordered and $151.75 thru the parts counter. Comfort Tilt steering $55.00 and $59.20 respectively. Oh, don't we wish we could still order those parts at those prices.

Re: Option Sheet Pricing ?

Interesting that they basically weren’t available on a chrome bumper equipped truck. I’ve seen plenty of Z82’s and YE9’s with them, never really thought to check the spids to see if they were original. I guess that never crossed my mind.

Re: Option Sheet Pricing ?

These little books can be found now and then, they're kinda handy if you don't have a pdf file at the ready.
List price is $18, like shown above and for '72 looks like the painted bumper requirement was dropped.
