make it custom, or japhands, has a cool thing on making a battery tray with all the stock looking ridges and indentations that an OEM tray would have.
or a wrecker would have a good donor, from a van or possibly a newer chevy truck that has the extra, unused, tray.
my "15 silverado has a nice tray on the driver's side that is unused from factory. easy to tie down a battery using the stock components too. you could notch the inner fender and install the tray in the bottom of the notch. nice clean look that way
