Are the belts still functional with the top off as lap belts? I'm starting a restoration and have noticed the B pillar mounting points, but have this question. Thanks.

Hello. Removing the top eliminates the B pillar point of attachment so the male end of the shoulder belt is literally gone. The lap belts retain their function. Good luck with your build.

Hey there, I remember following your K20 build back in the day. I took about a 10 year hiatus from the board. I got myself into a 72 K/5 Highlander project. Looking forward to take the time to go through this build, I cheated and skipped to the last page to see the finished product. Its beautiful.
