65 C10 Carpet Opinions

Hey guys,

I'm wanting to put new carpet in the truck. The truck is going to stay the color in the pictures. I'll just be smoothing out some of the dents and stuff. I already have a seat that matches pretty good. What color carpet is available that would go good with that color? I looked at bright blue and medium blue, but they just don't seem right. I looked at the medium blue carpet from ACC for a nova and it looked more turquoise/teal and more like the color I would need. What do you guys think? Thanks,

Maybe you could ask some companies for a color sample, if possible?

If you can't find the exact color you want, you could always go with black

Black. Just to throw one more option in the mix: I put in the ACC molded vinyl floor. Came with cut sound deadening for the footwells and up over the trans tunnel. I added more under the seat. Huge difference in sound and comfort. Much quieter, and heat is much better in the cool weather. Took time, and lots of trimming (a few hours), but the results were worth it.

I think even a saddle or light brown/sand color would look good with your existing colors. I've ordered ACC for my mom's '85 from rock auto and the price and fit was hard to beat.

I called up ACC and they are going to send me like 7 or 8 samples of different shades of blue, blue green, metallic blue, and others like that. I can visualize black and saddle or grey, but I can't tell by the pictures online of the blues and greens. They all look too similar. There is a C10 on instagram that is a very similar color to mine and it had a bluish green carpet that looked like it would be perfect. That is kind of what I was basing my vision on. We'll see when those samples get here.

That is good they are sending you samples. I will be in the market for carpet over the winter and was considering something besides black. But, I would also hate to make a decision based on a picture on the internet in a color other than black.

Yes sir. I dialed the main number and a super nice lady answered the phone immediately. No dial 1 for blah blah. It was quite refreshing actually. She let me pick as many colors as I wanted and even said she could send me different materials as well. Will definitely be supporting them when I am ready to make the purchase.

Don't be afraid to order from another place. They all sell ACC. I bought mine from RockAuto, it shipped direct from ACC and I saved a lot.
