A couple things jump out at me. The steering wheel is obviously not original, but the woodgrain applique on the instrument bezel looks like replacement also.

Cool...I don't love interior but to each their own......

GM seems to have built lots of color combos in the interiors of SUPERS....I wonder if CHEYENNES the same?

I'm trying to imagine what it would be like trying to locate a mint OEM blue one...

Then again a black one would be an improvement in that truck, imo

Re: Super rare '72 C/10

No power steering....

Looks like its had some TLC before the sale. Paint, new front and rear springs.

I'd be curious how it runs, possible oil consumption.......

All colors were equally "available" across the line, but GM had "recommendations" which most dealers stuck to. Therefore one could have been ordered by dealer or customer in whatever combo. The other rare (oddball IMO) I've seen is black exterior and green interior.

The except to the availability of interior colors was actually the Super had a more limited choice because of that houndstooth only came in olive, blue and parchment (no black or saddle).

Thumbs up Re: Super rare '72 C/10

What a killer truck! I'd put some proper sized era-correct white walls, get the ride height corrected, and perform a minor detailing.

I agree with the woodgrain being replacements. It had to be in really bad shape to go the route to replacing them. I went to GREAT lengths to get originals in mine when I upgraded my Cheyenne to a Super.

Re: Super rare '72 C/10

Restoring a Super and the woodgrain instrument bezel and the glovebox appliqué have to be the toughest thing to source. The aftermarket wood is not even remotely close to being correct
