Re: LS Swap with TC in stock position questions

I swapped a 5.3 with a 4l60e into my 71 K10 and kept my original 205 case in the stock position. Worked great. I used the Dirty Dingo crossmember and advance adapters kit for the transmission.

Two issues I had were the dirty dingo crossmember was very close to the front diff. I'm guessing my original front springs were a little soft, so I ended up putting a 2" lift which fixed it.

Other issue was the corner of the transmission pan was very tight against the front driveshaft. I took the pan off and massaged it a little bit in lol.
