Parking Brake Felt Piece, where does it go exactly?
LMC's diagram shows close or at drum (#6), I can't figure out exactly where....

Re: Parking Brake Felt Piece, where does it go exactly?
Only thing that makes sense is if your Park Brake cable bolts to the backing plate like on a 3/4 or 1 ton. If it uses a tension clip through the hole, then it does not belong on that application. LMC should clarify that in the catalog.
What year are you working on? Smitty

The felt part attaches between the backing plate and the parking brake cable on 3/4and 1 ton trucks. Hope this helps.
