Re: I guess I'm finally rich

Wow, a lot of good opinions
It looks good in any configuration at the end of the day
For now I'll run it with the full wheel covers
Since that's what I put on last
And, usually what I run
I've thought about lowering it a little
But, I'm not into modified trucks
Why start now

Good quality tires is the secret.
[Actually, I recently downloaded all my Android cell phone pix to my laptop. Weird effect, because the mobile pix uploaded to this site thru the mobile always landed on the side.
In the laptop's gallery, they are presented correctly. But the ex-mobile pix now present on their head. IDKY?
Small gremlins -- disgruntled at displacement -- I guess.]

Re: I guess I'm finally rich

That's Probably the best way to enjoy these trucks
Use them ....
I seem to always blow it
Playing with them and fixing them up
If they get too nice
I end up driving them less

I guess my fun comes from the hunt

Just pulling your chain, bud. I edit/crop my pics in mspaint and save them under a different file name instead of the digital name my phone gives it. This removes geographical info and usually posts them upright. Here, I post my approximate location. Other place, I am a bit more circumspect. Probably to little effect.

So it had white hubcaps on white steelies
The truck is basically all original
Has always been in the Bay Area
Someone riveted an original Super appliqué on the glove box door
And put in a wanna be fake wood steering wheel

Re: I guess I'm finally rich

I vote for steelies with dog dishes and blackwalls.

You've shown us more combos than my truck has had in the 30+ years that I've owned it! Mine currently has square body 8"rallys with the thinner trim rings and white letter tires. Kind of a classic, but probably not a cool as they were in the last century!

good god that is a clean truck. Can you imagine the other 9,000 trucks that may have been built exactly like that from 67-72 that people just used as work horses? Throwing crap into the bed, denting sides, overloading.

She was a farm truck . Took a while to straighten out the bedsides they had plenty of dents and were slightly bowed. Not like a fleetside where you can use filler . But she only had minor rust

I don't know about that Kenny
I was only 7 years old when these trucks were sold new
Still only in the passenger seat of my grandpa's 72

It is doable for you though
...
All you need to do is talk your wife into
Putting you on the signature card
Of you bank account

The two that are available for you
