Rocker install

Do I need to use the piece in front of the rocker? The rocker does not touch the piece on the cab across the door way. The flat piece lays in behind rocker top to bottom. Thanks
Ron

Re: Rocker install

I believe that flat piece in front of the rocker is if you only need to replace a section of the inner rocker. Given that you have already replaced the entire inner rocker I don't think you need the other piece. I ended up doing the same thing on mine and realized I did not need that extra piece. The outer rocker should sit on the ledge of the inner rocker and you need to spot weld the two horizontal faces together. Here's a few photos of mine in process.
