WTB - gas cap, taillight, backup light, hood letters
1) a solid but well-used fleet side taillight and passengers backup light (with a screw or two if you have them…)
2) ratty old crappy looking gas cap that still turns & locks in place as it should….to use with a fake filler neck. The uglier the better 3) set of CHEVROLET hood letters in ratty but solid shape (actually just need the V but would take a whole set). |

Re: WTB - gas cap, taillight, backup light, hood letters
Pretty sure I can help with the fleet side tail light and the passenger back up light. Do you need the housing, lens and wire harness for each? May have some of the fasteners also. Let me know your exact needs, driver quality I'm thinking?

Re: WTB - gas cap, taillight, backup light, hood letters
Thanks IH - yes, just drivers quality. I’m short one screw for the taillight.
All I need is the lens. I have new housings and a new harness going in. For some reason the passengers lens faded to a white ring around the perimeter? The truck is ratty and ugly, and I just don’t want new perfect shiny lenses on a super worn truck. |

Re: WTB - gas cap, taillight, backup light, hood letters
From the pic it shows your in need of the right hand back up lens only if I'm understanding you correctly? That and a screw for the back up lens or is it the tail light/brake light lens you need the screw for. Being a '67 unless you have changed them you need what is referred to as a bulls eye style back up lens. May have such but will be a day or two before I can check for sure. Winter has not been kind to us with 7'' of snow and single digit temps.

Re: WTB - gas cap, taillight, backup light, hood letters
I suppose it doesn’t matter too much. The drivers side is indeed a bullseye backup lens, so it would be nice to have them match, but isn’t critical.
For the taillight lens, I’d like a lens AND a screw. So passengers bullseye backup light if possible, a taillight lens, and a taillight lens screw. Zero urgency - we’re also in deep deep winter and I have plenty of other work to keep me busy |

Re: WTB - gas cap, taillight, backup light, hood letters
Was able to get to the parts shed today, finally getting above freezing temps, a bit of sunshine and getting some melting. Ready for that, for sure!
Pics of the lenses and tail light screw. Tail light lens is nice with one small corner chip as shown in the pic, top right hand corner of lens. Passenger bulls eye lens is nice, no chips or cracks. Driver side bulls eye is usable but has some condition issues. No charge for D/S lens, FREEBIE Tail light lens screw also a FREEBIE Dug thru my hardware stash and came up with it. Tried it on my '71 4x4 tail light mounting and threaded in fine. $10 for the two lenses, the RH bulls eye and tail light lens plus shipping. As I mentioned, the LH bulls eye and T/L lens screw, NO CHARGE -- FREEBIES Need a zip code to figure shipping costs. Do not have Paypal, money order, cash or personal check works.

Thank Gary.
Still after a crummy gas cap and hood letters…and would love a set of ‘67 GMC front parking light assemblies. |
