Type 1 with no top tab being for 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton with certain RPO codes. And Type 2 with the top tab for 3/4 ton and different RPO codes. Also the part that wraps around the back of the tire seems to be different between the two types, although your cover seems to have a slightly different back wrap that pictured in Type 1.
